
The Hedi Moani Charitable Trust was founded in 2011 in memory of Hedi Moani. The purpose of the Trust is to uphold Hedi’s vision for racial harmony and social good — to assist and promote community development, education scholarships, hardship relief, within Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Race Unity Speech Award (RUSA) was stablished to honour the work and contributions of Hedi to this cause in New Zealand.
Scholarships for youth to develop spiritual qualities and moral leadership
Hedi had a special affinity with the youth and their moral and spiritual development. The Trust has continued Hedi’s commitment to the youth by providing them with educational scholarships.
Assistance for people in financial distress
Hedi had a deep affection for the disadvantaged and the downtrodden in society. The Trust has provided financial assistance for those in times of dire needs.
